This Micromusical is an adaptation of George Orwell’s book of the same name, in which he uses an allegorical form to portray the political stances of the World at the end of World War Two. The Animal Farm represents Russia. The Animals represent its People and their fight for individual rights. At first successful in the act of attaining equality, within a short time, some of the Animals strive to be Rulers, putting their counterparts back into the same, if not worse, situation than that which they were in prior to the time of the Revolution. For the Students, it is an introductory study of Socialism, Fascism, and Democracy, as well as Communism. It also allows the students to witness how so many of the World’s Peoples suffer from the injustice of their Leaders.
